Tonight on the menu: Grilled Tri Tip SandwichesđŸ„©đŸ”„đŸŽ

It’s another round of, “What’s Grilling Wednesday?!” tonight on the menu it’s grilled tri-tip steak sandwiches. This is a simple and delicious recipe that your family is sure of love. Here’s what you’ll need:

tri tip steak sliced thin

italian sub rolls or bread of your choice

provolone cheese

fresh spinach

red onion

mayonnaise

honey dijon

fresh lemon

I simply start by prepping the steak and slicing it thin. I then marinate it in a soy sauce for about four to five hours prior to grilling. You can use ciabatta bread, French bread, Italian bread, we used Italian sub rolls and you want to grill them and melt the provolone on top.

I then sautéed some red onion until carmalized and used a half a cup of mayonnaise, a dollop of honey dijon and fresh squeezed lemon and mixed in a bowl. Once steak is grilled and provolone is melted on Italian sub roll, add the spread on top of the bread, the fresh spinach, and caramelized red onion. Serve with a side of steak fries and enjoy!
