The time is finally here when I am SO EXCITED to share with you that my book has been published and is available NOW for purchasing on Amazon as well as Barnes & Noble. (Be sure to visit the link in my IG Bio or below.) “All we have to do is Believe,” has been a work in progress for me and a project of which I would pick up and put down often for quite some time. It’s such a great feeling to finally have it complete! I want to further elaborate and to share the story here behind the book as it’s so important for me to share why I wrote it. As I shared with you that when I first started writing, I wasn’t sure where I was going to go with it. Initially, I thought I would be writing an adult book with a journal entry type structure. I quickly realized that my writing was for me and my own personal healing and growth. It was meant for no one else but me and through my writing, I have healed and have grown so much. After coming to this realization, I switched gears and decided to write a children’s book. After our son Bryce’s passing, Rich and I struggled to be able to explain where Bryce was in a way that Lyla could understand. We turned to books to assist with this, and I knew I wanted to someday write my very own. I have spoken to so many of you who have shared with me that they too have struggled with this with loss and having to explain to their children and many of you have come to me for advice. “All we have to do is Believe,” puts the magic in believing in angels, and gently puts this very harsh and very hard subject to them in a way that they can better comprehend and make it feel not so harsh. Death can be so final and so difficult for so many, especially children and a hard concept to grasp. In our home we don’t even use the D word and instead we use passed. Our children feel very fortunate, and blessed that they have their very own angel that looks over them and is always there with them. My hopes in writing this book is to not only help the children but the parents during the difficult time of loss. Though our loved ones have have passed, they are our angels and are always with us, “All we have to do is believe.”
